When you move a simple checklist will help eliminate some of the hassles and last minute problems that can occur. Our storage councilors will be happy to assist you in selecting just the packing items you need for a stress free move.

In addition to the boxes, wrapping paper and tape, be sure to have the following items ready as you pack:

• Marking Pens or labels — Label the boxes as you fill them it eliminates the need to open every box immediately.
• A box or utility knife — Necessary when opening boxes but also handy to have available when packing for cutting tape or adjusting the size of a box when necessary.
• Mattress covers. If there is one item that we hear “I wish I would have used these” it is certainly mattress covers.
• A special “put this in the car” box – Hand soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, your box knife and maybe even a bottle of water or two in an identifiable location makes arrival and the unpacking portion of the move that much easier.
